Filters: Build Your List
Quick Filters
Quick Filters are pre-defined filter shortcuts that apply with a single click. They live in the Filter tab of the Filter Panel and cover common queries that you would otherwise need to type out.
How They Work
Click a Quick Filter to apply it to the file table:
- No active filter — the Quick Filter becomes the active filter
- Active filter already set — the Quick Filter is combined with your existing expression using AND
This makes it easy to layer filters. For example, click "Large Files" and then click "Shared with Anyone" to find large files that are publicly shared.
Available Quick Filters
Quick Filters cover common use cases like:
- Large files — files above a certain size threshold
- Recently modified — files changed in the last few days
- Shared files — files shared with other people
- Files shared with anyone — publicly accessible files
- Folders — show only folders
- Files only — hide folders
The exact set of Quick Filters may change between versions as new ones are added.
Quick Filters vs. Saved Filters
| Feature | Quick Filters | Saved Filters |
|---|---|---|
| Source | Built into the app | Created by you |
| Customizable | No | Yes — name, expression, description |
| Combination | ANDs with active filter | Replaces active filter |
| Favorites | N/A | Can be starred for quick access |
If you find yourself repeatedly using the same filter expression, save it as a Saved Filter from the Filter tab for one-click reuse.
